About us
The Cornell Folk Song Society is a non-profit membership organization that seeks to preserve and promote traditional and traditionaly-oriented folk music both on and off campus. Membership is open to everyone in the Cornell or the greater central New York community. Founded in about 1950 we've been known at one time or another as a "club" or a "society," but we've been a large part of the folk music scene in Ithaca through most of that time. You can read more about our history here.
Members get a discount on concert admission, a voice in deciding about activites and other benefits. Find out more about membership here.
